SEE 2012

SEE 2012 (known as SISO Smackdown) took place in Orlando, FL. Returning teams included MIT, Genoa, and Penn State University (led by a former JSC intern), with University Alabama Huntsville forming a new team. In 2012 the scenario was repeated from the previous year with MIT operating its ISRU (In Site Resource Utilization) and the Hopper. Penn State operated the Cargo Rover and Shuttle Lander. Genoa operated the Supply Depot and while working with MBDA added the Asteroid Protection System. Lastly, the University of Alabama Huntsville operated a new element in the scenario with the Satellite System and Mass Driver.
